We use a range of equipment to find and fix your leak. Every job is different, and our plumbing leak detection engineers will bring their experience to deal with it in the most efficient way. Our engineers are all highly experienced and qualified time-served gas-safe engineers who know how to find and repair plumbing leaks.
They will use a combination of acoustic equipment, trace-gas, thermal imaging and moisture meters to build the evidence. Each engineer is only booked for 1 plumbing leak detection job per day, which means they are never under time pressure to be elsewhere. They start at 9am and methodically go through the process building the evidence. It is quite normal for our engineers to start a job with there being no evidence but whether it’s a central heating leak, a leak on underfloor heating or a mains leak, our engineers have the skills and experience to deal with it.
You will have a dedicated point of contact within the office and we pride ourselves on our customer service. Before booking the plumbing leak detection visit, the member of staff will talk through your plumbing issue at length and offer advice. If appropriate the booked engineer will call you before the visit to get an even better understanding or if you want to speak directly to the engineer anyway then we are happy to facilitate that. We don’t take credit card details or ask for any form of payment beforehand.
After the job we will send you an invoice and you can either do a bank transfer or we can take a credit card payment over the phone. A few days later we will send you a full report with photos and if appropriate, videos. You can send the report to your Insurance company if you are going that route, otherwise you have the report for your own knowledge of what was done. All the reports are written in clear concise English.
