We offer a no find no fee offer on

1. external and internal water mains and hot pipework.
2. heating systems losing a measurable daily amount of pressure.

No find no fee terms & conditions.

Part 1. No find no fee on external and internal water mains and hot pipework.
Your water meter must be spinning when there is no demand from any water outlets.

Part 2. No find no fee on heating systems losing a measurable daily amount of pressure.
The measurable leak must fall within the parameters set by Harmuns Limited.
The customer claimed leak rate must be observed by the engineer on-site on the day of the visit & under test conditions.

A leak rate showing of less than the claimed rate will invalidate the no find no fee offer & will incur the hourly time rate charge starting from the beginning of the engineer visit.

Furthermore

• Not applicable to leaks from adjacent properties.
• Not applicable to water damage caused by construction defects.
• Only applicable to hot, cold and heating pipework within the property.
• Not applicable if the leak does not meet the minimum size required to be found by non-invasive methods (pressure loss stated by the customer over the phone).
• Not applicable to damage caused by damp or rising damp.
• Only applicable to residential properties with 4 bedrooms or fewer.
• Not applicable to commercial properties.
• Not applicable to properties with shared watermains.
• Not applicable to properties with pipework in ducting.
• Not applicable to properties with pipework in beneath sealed membranes.
• Not applicable to properties with pipework in sealed insulation.
• Only applicable to one day’s visit per customer.
• We will be considered successful if we find one leak on the system even if further leaks are then observed on the system.
• Further leaks will be charged at an hourly rate.
• The engineer must be able to gain access to the entire property and all stop taps, internal and external.

Using non-invasive methods we will endeavour to pinpoint the leak to the closest degree of accuracy, and in most instances within 1m2, however leak detection is considered successful when narrowed down to an area of 3m x 3m.

If we are not instructed to access and fix the leak we can not be held responsible for further appointed agents being unable to find the leak.

Leak access and repair is charged separately.
