Supporting Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service
Our chosen charity 2026
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is a local charity that provides specialist care and vital support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and the surrounding counties.
The charity was founded by John and Fiona Devine in 2007 in memory of their son Alexander who sadly passed away from a rare brain tumour in 2006. Their personal experience led them to realise a desperate need for a local children’s hospice service with a hospice facility in Berkshire.
Today they support over 165 children and their families. The hospice was opened by Theresa May MP in 2018 and since then they have opened a sensory garden, a hydrotherapy pool, an adventure playground and established an overnight respite service for children at the hospice.
How we help
Every time we receive an enquiry, whether it becomes an instruction to visit or not, we donate £2 to Alexander Devine. We have supported Alexander Devine since we started as a business and we are proud to help and support them again in 2026.
Thank you
We would like to thank all our customers who contacted us last year and instructed us to visit. In 2025 you helped us raise £1,200.00 for a very worthwhile cause.
We really appreciate Harmuns supporting us and we think it is brilliant they link their annual donation to Alexander Devine with the number of enquiries they receive. It’s such a great idea. We wish them every success for the future
